Enchanted Wood Preschool is an inclusive forest preschool for 18 month - 4 year olds (we accept children from 9 month old at Standard Road and Bexley Park and 12 month olds at VCD, Old Road). We currently have six sites in the Bexley area. The term time settings are Standard Road, Bean Road and The Broadway in Bexleyheath and our full time settings are VCD, Old Road and Bexley Park. We also have our specialist provision Little Nest which opened in January 2020 in Blackfen.

All of our staff are fully trained in Paediatric First Aid, Safeguarding, Forest School Trained and hold a minimum of Level 2 Childcare qualification. Continual professional development is a high priority to ensure we offer the best possible standard of Early Years education.

All of our sites are now full until September 2024, open days will be held in Spring 2024 for those on the waiting lists. Bean Road Site currently has spaces and will be offered at the open day after Easter. Please complete a waiting list form to register for the site required and we will contact you when a space becomes available.

standard road, bexleyheath

Standard Road is a term time only preschool situated five minutes from Bexleyheath station and town centre. We offer term time only sessions for children aged 9mths-4 year olds with a heavy emphasis on outdoor play and exploration.

The Broadway, Bexleyheath

Located behind Christ Church in the heart of Bexleyheath, this site is a term time only and has undertaken a complete transformation by continuing our Reggio Emilia forest school approach. We offer half and full day sessions for 2 year - 4 year olds.

Bean road, bexleyheath

A beautiful setting in a scout hall located behind the houses, a short walk from Danson Park. This site is a morning only term time only preschool. The site benefits from a huge woodlands space which holds forest school sessions twice weekly. We offer morning sessions for 2 year - 4 year olds.

Little Nest is a specialist provision part of Enchanted Wood Preschool providing high quality education and a unique learning environment for children with additional or complex needs.

VCD, Old Road, crayford

VCD Athletics Football Club is an all year round setting offering parents full time childcare for 51 weeks of the year. We have two dedicated rooms for 12 months - 2 year olds and preschool, with a large forest school and outdoor area.

Bexley Park, Bexley

Bexley Park is situated in the heart of the new housing development. We offer a high quality learning experience for babies aged 9 months - 4 year olds. This site will offer full time places for 51 weeks of the year.
