Nestled to the east of Bexley Village lies our all year-round Outstanding setting Enchanted Wood Preschool – Bexley Park.
Tucked away in the tranquil surrounds of Garden Wood, our setting has access to a full-sized astroturf, a large dedicated zoned garden including an outdoor classroom, performance area with stage and climbing apparatus. We also have access to an enormous field, children’s playground and Forest School area. We are conveniently situated with easy access to the A2 and M25, and boast 2 large free car parks, making drop off and collection hassle free.
With 5 rooms playing host to children from 9 months to preschool age, we aim to put your mind at ease by providing a ‘home from home’ experience for your family. Direct access to your child’s room via dedicated phones, along with our welcoming ‘open door’ policy help us become part of your family during your time with Enchanted Wood. A Manager is always on site and your child’s Key Worker is always available should you need them.
Our varied enrichment programme includes Baby Ballet, Football Coaching, Jo Jingles, Sing and Sign, Phonics with Robot Reg, Multi Sports and Cycle Me Tots to name but a few. We are also fortunate enough to have an on-site caterer providing a delicious three-week rolling menu of fresh and healthy hot lunches with mouth-watering desserts provided by Zebedees.
Our experienced and highly trained staff have a continuous professional development programme, ensuring their skills and knowledge remain up to date and relevant to our children. We also have a dedicated apprenticeship programme and links to local colleges, ensuring all of our team are provided with experience of the highest quality and training of the highest standards.
Our staff play to their passions, including our Scandinavian Forest School Lead with her love of everything ‘hygge’ to our dedicated and passionate SEN team and on-site SENCo. Every one of our team brings their own individual style to our site, but it is their shared dedication and commitment to each and every child that makes our setting the success that it is today.

We are currently full in all rooms for our September 2024-2025 intake. We have offered out our last Bunnies & Fawns spaces, all other rooms are full.
Please join our waiting list by completing a registration form to register your interest for this site. The Site Manager will be in contact with you when a space becomes available but if you have any questions please contact the Manager direct.
Please note we will only offer families a visit to the preschool site if they are on the waiting list, this is due to Safeguarding reasons.

Enchanted Wood Preschool is now trading as a Limited company ‘Enchanted Wood Preschool Ltd’ which was established in April 2024. This means our previous Ofsted inspections under our sole trader status will be found under our old registration numbers. There has been no changes to the settings, so Ofsted gradings are linked under our new registration.
