Nursery in a Box
All preschools use Nursery in a Box admin systems to create booking patterns, registers and invoices. This is our main point of communication with information, diary date reminders and a way for you to communicate with your site manager.
Please download the Parent Admin app where you can see monthly invoices and emails directly to your phone, laptop or ipad. Click on the link below to go to the LOG IN screen.
Uniform
Children are also required to purchase an all-in-one weather suit for Forest School sessions if they attend on a Forest School day.
All children are required to wear the preschool t-shirt and sweatshirt these are available to purchase online from Casey's Schoolwear in Blackfen. Additional items available to purchase are zip-up fleeces, woollen hats and legionnaires hats.
They may wear their own bottoms, but sensible enough to move around on play equipment.
They will also need a pair of wellies for garden play in bad weather and a sun hat in summer months (no open toed sandals).
Our outside learning is very important to us so it is essential that you dress your child appropriately. By this we mean bringing a coat everyday, and on cold winter days, hats, scarfs and gloves! On especially cold days double layers may be an idea if your child feels the cold. Please mark all your child’s belongings with his/her name.
Forest School Sessions
Children will attend forest school sessions weekly, in all weathers, so will need to be provided with suitable clothing to ensure they are warm and dry.
In winter children should wear:
• Thermals
• Base layers
• Fleece top and tracksuit bottoms
• An all in one 100% waterproof suit
• Thick ski socks
• Welly Boots
• Gloves, scarf and hat
In summer children should wear:
• T-shirt and tracksuit bottoms
• Light fleece
• An all in one 100% waterproof suit
• Socks
• Welly Boots
• Sun hat
• Sun cream
