Little Nest, Welling
Little Nest, Welling is an extension of our Little Nest, Blackfen site offering specialist provision for a range of children with moderate to complex needs. With no more than nine children in the preschool daily, working on 1:1- 1:3 ratios we offered the highest levels of care and education. Staff are trained by medical teams to deliver daily feeds via PEG feeding systems or medication. Mobile and non-mobile children are supported through a range of activities on the floor to follow physio programmes, BEE chairs with tray tasks and walking frames. We also have a dedicated sensory room and soft play frame.
Our environment is adapted to create a unique and safe experience for the children. Using caring, passionate, and professional staff and we pride ourselves on supporting each child and their individual needs.
We work alongside outside multi agency teams such as Speech and Language, Educational Psychologists, Occupational therapists as well as many more to create a holistic approach and ensure each child receives the highest quality of personalised intervention.
